Goldman Sachs is the financial casino, or house, of the United States government. Goldman has abused us by driving up the price of oil, by manipulating the stock market through massive leverage, by betting that the liar loans would go bad while promoting them throughout the world, and on and on. Goldman Sachs has been bailed out by the government by stealth means, gaining money from the hapless AIG without any negotiation. They were made completely whole. Perhaps the greatest issue confronting our nation and Congress is the issue of Goldman Sachs program trading. They trade more than any other bank, and also have hedge fund involvement. They can, with the help of hedge funds, literally push the stock market up and down in such a way to suit them. They can create volume on the stock market where there would otherwise be no volume. They literally have captured and manipulated the market with the blessing of our corrupt government.

They have been accused of being able to see the trades before others see them, giving them an advantage there as well. You can see these arguments at the above website links I have collected.

It is my hope that you would contact your congressmen and women and complain about Goldman's manipulations. You pay more for gasoline, and get hurt by not being able to judge the price of stocks based on rational fundamentals. The mini bubble that started in March 2009 is a trap, IMO, and is based upon massive leverage which can be taken away at any time.

In more fair times, the government would never allow the investment banks to hurt true value, but with the ponzi housing scheme and credit card usury the value of things is out of whack and cannot be trusted. Values change rapidly and have no basis in reality. Even foreclosures are being flipped as the government wants churn in real estate just like it wants churn in the stock market.

I hope that someday, these evil and unethical people who are in on the scam get exactly what they deserve, a life of servitude in a maximum security prison. They literally are stealing out of the mouths of children and their practices are disgusting.
